The associations ‘Friends of L’Entrepot’ ‘Les Amis de l’Arche’ and ‘ARTSENS ‘present THE ARK OF THE HEART 2015 Théâtre des Variétés 1 boulevard Albert Ier in Monaco. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 8:30 pm The Monaco Association ‘Les Amis of L’Entrepot’ and Riviera Association ARTSENS unite to give to the public a unique evening of performances by a young duo of jazzmen--ALLEGRO, a Harmony of 20 musicians-- La LYRE Roquebrunoise, as well as a classical trio consisting of soloists of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. The performance of these talented musicians will be followed by a Fashion Show, both glamourous and green, with a parade of dresses confected from recycled materials. Many other surprises await the public... At the heart of this evening: l’Arche. The founder, Jean Vanier, said: I discovered that people with a mental handicap were the most oppressed people in the world and yet they are an extraordinary people, capable of a social existence of great beauty. ». Fifty years ago, Jean Vanier founded a first hostel based on the concept of living together where people with a mental disability share their lives with assistants and build a balanced relational family. This model has spread to the four corners of the world, and since 2010 l’Arche has opened three homes in Grasse. They are deserving of our support. In France, l’Arche comprises 32 communities. To raise awareness of this beautiful human adventure, the artist Corinne Reinsch, founder of ARTSENS, Daniel Boeri, founder of ‘L’Entrepot’ and Chairman of the Culture and Heritage Commission of the National Council of the Principality of Monaco, and Jean L’Herbon de Lussats, founder of the ‘Friends of the Arche’ in Monaco, have organized this festival of solidarity with its sparkling program.
