Please participate: South Sudanese Diaspora Survey: Do you - TopicsExpress

Please participate: South Sudanese Diaspora Survey: Do you live outside #SouthSudan but support families and communities there? Have you returned in recent years for a short or long-term visit? What do you see as the opportunities and challenges for South Sudanese living outside the country in contributing to its development? Let us know! Please take 10 minutes to complete this survey. The results are anonymous and option. Our goal is that they will be used to inform future non-governmental and governmental policy on South Sudanese development. The link to the survey is: https://jfe.qualtrics/form/SV_01whi7nPUF84GUZ Thank you for your participation! *** + More details on the survey and our research team: This survey was created by researchers at Florida International University in partnership with Ms. Agnes Oswaha. The project is funded by Humanity United. It forms part of a study that aims to understand and document how people from the South Sudanese diaspora are contributing to national development in the homeland, and identify the key challenges they face in trying to do so. Although you will not receive any immediate benefits from participating, your responses will be used to produce a report that will be made public and will be shared with other researchers, non-governmental and governmental organizations. The data, we hope, can be used to produce policies and programs that can better facilitate these engagements. Your individual survey responses are kept anonymous. By diaspora we include any South Sudanese person who resides outside of the country, including those who may have returned, are considering return, or are not considering return. We are also interested in the perspectives of South Sudanese who have lived outside of South Sudan but have since returned to the country and those who currently spend some time living in South Sudan and some time living in another country. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Agnes Oswaha at oswaha@gmail or Dr Caroline Faria at fariacv@gmail .
