Please pass this information along. FYI, the online deadline is July 15, 2013. Cornell Engineering hosting two Diversity Weekends for 12th graders in September Cornell Engineering is hosting two overnight visitation programs this September for high school seniors (graduating in Spring 2014). Our Women in Engineering (WIE) Program focuses on women, whereas our Diversity Hosting Weekend is a co-ed that has a particular focus on first generation college and/or students from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in engineering (African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Native Hawaiian, Native Pacific Islander and Native Alaskan). These programs offer excellent opportunities for promising students with strong interests in the STEM disciplines to learn about the exciting opportunities available to them through engineering! To help spread the word about these programs, I invite you to share the following invitation to any rising high school seniors you know that have a strong aptitude and interest in math, science, technology, engineering, business, or other related fields. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Sara Xayarath Hernández by contacting our Engineering Admissions Office at (607) 255-5008 or at [email protected].
