Please pray for Father Paul Tobin this morning as he has serious surgery. Fr. Paul helped in many ways at St. Joseph the Provider School when the school was located in Campbell. The following is from Nancy Laykos Facebook post yesterday: Father Paul Tobin, graduated from Ursuline (Mooney wasnt here then) in 1956. He is a great guy and we love him. He is having some pretty serious surgery tomorrow. Apparently he diabetes has gotten out of control and tomorrow, Monday, at 10:00 he will be having surgery on his leg. They will be amputating his leg. This breaks our heart. We ask you to pray for the surgery to go smoothly and with no complications and that his healing also goes smoothly. Healing is hard for diabetics. This a big surgery. Pray that he will feel Gods arms around him and that he will also feel the love and peace that God has for him. He has been such a good servant for the Lord. We pray that he will be able to handle and deal with all that comes with this surgery. That he never gives up the fight. God guide the hands of his surgeon. This night speak to Fr. Paul as he tries to sleep. Help him get the rest and sleep he needs, and tell him that you are there with him now and will be just as you always have been. Embrace him and give him your peace, strength, and courage. Assure him Lord of your continued presence and love and support. Overwhelm his with your Grace and love.
