Please pray for Kim Haidle Anderson today as she is having a heart procedure done today. Over the past 4-5 months they have done a number of test on her heart to check out the hows and whys her heart has been racing. All of the test have come back great showing that her heart is in great shape and functioning well and have determined that it is an electrical problem that they should be able to fix with a Catheter Ablation where they go in and take care of the cell that is sending out the wrong message. The procedure is a fairly long procedure (4-6 hrs.) as they go in, map the heart, stimulate the heart to try to get it to go into the rapid beating, locate the source of the issue, then ablate (selectively destroy) that section that is causing the heart rhythm problem. If all goes well this procedure will permanently cure the heart rhythm problem- to which end we are praying. Kims biggest concern is the time she will have to be lying flat on her back for the procedure and the 4 or so hours afterwards that they will have her lying on her back to prevent bleeding from where they insert the catheters. They encouraged her to plan for an overnight stay in the hospital although some go home the same day.
