Please pray for me. My passport has disappeared. I can noy go nor serve in Kenya without it and must stay in Tanzania. What a trying day. Was told to report it stolen, go to immigration and get a temp. Went to four places then after complying went to immigration. Was interviewed by an agent who sent me to get a passport photo. I returned after doing so only to have the same guy tell me that I could only get one for a medical emergency. What? We just talked and filled out the forms you told me to fill out, you interviewed me and knew why I need to go and took my form and sent me to get the pictures! You knew everything you needed to make a decision! Why didnt you tell me before I got the pictures you were going to deny me? Sorry. Welcome to the remnant socialist beuracracy of Tanzania. Very polite and helpful. Couldnt be nicer. Please pray. I am told I have to go to Dar es Salaam and physically meet with the embassy reps. I will search my house one more time. All 300 feet of it and if I must, head to Dar. Might as well the days of mourning are not over for three more days. Cant do anything till after then.
