Please pray for my Friend Susan Gregg as she is have some heart issues.......Note from her daughter Erin - Hey~ Mom was hospitalized Monday 8/25 with congestive heart failure. She had a racing heart and severe shortness of breath for several hours (which should not be happening as she had a pacemaker put in last March) so my dad took her to the ER in the middle of the night. Managed to get her heart rate under control with meds by mid-morning Tuesday. They are considering bypass surgery. Shes on oxygen and her heart is only functioning at 20% efficiency right now which is pretty crappy. MRI happened today. Then an angiogram in a couple days. Might remove her pacemaker and replace with an A-fibrulator. Still lots of decisions to make after more tests are run. Tests need to inject her with dye so they have to space them days apart as to not put too much stress on her kidneys. And her heart is already weak from 2 separate rounds of chest radiation for her breast cancer treatments. No fun!!! She is in good spirits and feels in good hands with her doctors. 2 she has been with since her pacemaker issues. And a new one brought in yesterday. She was off oxygen by end of day and is hoping to be released tomorrow and do the rest of the tests outpatient. Ill post more updates as we have them. Thanks for checking in.
