Please pray for my dad. He was finally scheduled for a pulmonary appt Thursday this week with the VA but had continued to get worse and coughing constantly - couldnt rest etc. My niece talked him into going ahead to the ER yesterday so they took him the the VA ER in Murfreesboro. They tested him etc. and decided to admit him to Nashville for more test. Been through more scans etc today. Attending physician kept insisting it was CHF despite cardiologist having told me a week and a half ago that it was not cardiac related. Well today they finally came and told him and my niece that he had multiple tumors.....at least one in the lung, one in the lymph node in his neck and one on his tonsil. After having first presented 9 months ago to the VA with the symptoms - they said it looks like cancer but we wont know for sure until results from biopsies they want to do tomorrow. They keep saying it isnt mold related although everything Ive read about black mold says it can cause cancer and that to test for it they have to do blood work that specifically looks for it - they will not test him for it....not sure why. Even at 84 years old he is still in good spirits and just told the doctors to fix it if they could. So if you would say a prayer for my dad.
