Please pray for my husbands oldest son, Joseph Clark. This past Monday, an MRI revealed a tumor inside his cervical spine that has possibly been the source of all his mobility issues, rather than the scoliosis. It is a rare type of tumor and we are currently working to get him to the best neurosurgeon we can. The neurosurgeon that diagnosed him said they just arent equipped up here in NWA to handle the required procedure. Please pray for Joe, pray for my husband, and all of us that love this very special man, please pray that we find the surgeon the Lord would have to do this surgery, and that Joes insurance will be accepted. Please pray that the tumor does not encompass any of the spinal nerves; that all the nerves are outside of the tumor. And we pray that the tumor is benign. We are working first to get into WUMC at St Louis. That is a 6 hour drive and easier for family and friends to come visit him throughout the long rehab to follow the surgery. We dont think MD Anderson is going to take Joes insurance but they were suggested to us. And then there is the Mayo clinic in MN. They are the best, but that will mean Joe and I will be up there without too many visitors throughout his recovery and rehab, which will be many months long. My husband has walked me through my battle with cancer and now is walking his oldest son through his. But we have seen how the Lord is lighting our way well ahead of us. We have peace that He is in control and wants the best for our Joseph. Joe is ready to face this battle and see it through. We covet your prayers and support.
