Please read Isa. 42:1-4 and agree: Its all about Jesus. Prophecy after prophecy throughout the Old Testament pointing the One who is to come. Isaiah 53:5-6 (NIV) says, But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. The only way we could be reconciled to God is if God Himself acted and made it possible. His redemptive plan was always salvation through Jesus Christ. Our complete hope is in Him, and He stepped in and bore the wrath of God for our sin. We owe Him everything.
