Please read the following content of system for storage of food grains and try to understand that the same or an improved version of the same can be made available all over india , as already a well defined and established system for storing of food grains by our ancestors is available . But we normally think and say Retail Business with FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) is the solution for these kind of problems and justify that marketing of food grains with value added services can only be possible if we engage FDI in retail Business. If the leaders are politicians of our own nation is failing to administer this country, shall we engage the leaders from other nation to rule us if the local system of marketing is with bugs, we should try to set it right by our own not like this ========================================================== Thanks to my facebook friend Kanagasabai Natarajan We used to get annoyed over the way the food grains are stored in a poor way, getting decayed. Such organisations could take clue from this, rock solid, brick laid, storage solution , built around 500 years back. This available at Papanasam, near Kumbakonam of TN. It is estimated that this storage capacity is around 3000 MT of grains and could hold the grains good for 5 years. This was built to store the grains of the temple, used to protect the mass from draught. Temple centred social living sounds very scientific, rewarding. I hail from this area, never seen. Would aspire to visit, sooner. ========================================================
