(Snap) Smith entered into rest on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at University Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church with Rev. Albert Young officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Mr. Smith was employed as a Paramedic Field Supervisor with Gold Cross EMS and with Williams Funeral Home for over forty years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Harris Smith; son, Rick (Latonya) Smith, N. Augusta, SC; grandson, Jacob Smith; mother, Lucille Smith, Augusta; sisters, Sabrina Smith, Theresa Mackey, Augusta; brothers, George (Audrey) Smith, West Chester, PA, Donald Holmes, Atlanta; devoted special niece, Towanda (Christopher) Jones; and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law and cousins.
