Please remember when making a clothing donation to the Care Closet, first ask if we are in need of clothing. Second, I can not stress enough that we can only use gently used, clean clothing. If it has holes, tears, stains or stinks, we can not use it. I had to toss a lot of clothing from the past 7 months of donations. We did however take that clothing to another donation site where they shred it up and use it for insulation. It took approximately 20 hours to sort, organize and hang what we were able to keep and sort through what we had to toss. As always, we greatly appreciate all donations we receive and want to Thank You for thinking of us.
