Please see below an important message from Oak Harbor High School student Matthew Harris: My name is Matthew Harris and I attend Oak Harbor High School. I am part of Boy Scout Troop 316 here in Oak Harbor and I am currently working on My Eagle Scout Project. This project will go near the main entrance of the high school, to the left of the cafeteria doors, after the triangle garden. We have planted the Oak tree which I have explained in the bulletin attached to this email. We are planning on pouring concrete here soon and the rest of the project will continue after that is finished. Along with that I am looking for donations and I am reaching out to the staff for help. I have already asked around at the local businesss to collect donations. It would be great to get some contributions from the district. I have asked each of the principles at all 3 of the buildings to collect donations for me at their building. The superintendent at the board office has also offered to collect there. If you decide to donate I would like you to put your name and how much you donate down for a receipt. A thank you will come with the receipt. Thanks for reading!
