Please send this to anyone who might be interested in tendering for the Coops ICT Project Manager. The deadline is Monday 19 August. REQUEST FOR TENDERS (RFT) FOR ICT PROJECT MANAGER Purpose of Project: To upgrade the ICT capability of Dublin Food Co-operative Society Limited. Reporting: To the Coordinating Body via the General Manager. Objectives: Complete the migration to CiviCRM (already in progress), document procedures, and design and deliver training to key staff [estimate 3 days]; Commission companion programmes such as CiviVolunteer and Ubercart, document procedures, and design and deliver training to key staff [estimate 10 days]; Implement a direct debit/credit card system for online, virtual and POS payments [estimate 2 days]; Implement the POS system IS4C, ensure integration with CiviCRM and existing hardware [estimate 10 days]; Oversee front-end redesign of dublinfood.coop and back-end updates to the existing drupal CMS in collaboration with the Communication IT working group and staff [estimate 3 days]; Organise an overnight “hackathon” not later than 15th September 2014 (Friday or Saturday night) by mobilising members volunteers, community members, coderdojo members, and it/design students with the assistance of DFC staff (mainly the volunteer coordinator/administrator); [estimate 5 days] Ensure DFC network is functional and DP compliant with appropriate levels of password protection [estimate 1 day]; Overall project input: Estimated 34 days Tenders may quote for overall delivery or for each objective separately. Dublin Food Co-operative reserve the right to place one or more contracts with different suppliers for separate objectives of the project. Operating Environment: 1x custom-build running Windows 7; 2x Compaq PCs running Windows 8 Desired Qualifications and Experience: Project management experience in a collaborative environment Experience of project implementation in an open source environment Able to demonstrate compliance with the licensing requirements of the Creative Commons licence Experience of documenting IT procedures Experience of training delivery Familiarity with consensus decision-making and working with volunteers Tenders to be received by midnight of 19th August. Criteria: the contract will be awarded on previous experience of similar projects (70%), price (30%) Terms 50% on commission and 50% on completion of the overall project or individually-contracted objectives.
