Of course, there are some challenges/difficulties including duration and expenditure in online exam also but we have to trade off. Let us see what would be decision of the Govt. Banks are already taking online exams and railways has also decided to go for online. In my opinion,Tier-I must have been kept screening only instead of scoring because in Tier-II, candidates are much lesser and we can keep strict control in Tier-II. Had Tier-I been only screening or qualifying, present situation of involvement of gangs/mafia would have not arrived. Anyway, in online or revised format, if approved by the Govt., Tier-I is fairly expected to be screening/qualifying. Please, do send your comments to DoPT immediately.
