Please share with anyone who may be interested... With everything thats going on medically with Tally and a few puppy-induced accidents with Angel, our senior greyhound, weve come to the hard decision that we need to prioritize the needs of our senior dogs and find a new home for our puppy, Ziggy. As he has gotten bigger and stronger (not aggressive), he is too much for the old dogs, and Tally is at risk of another spinal disc injury if we dont keep her quiet. Its been a rough couple of weeks, and we dont think its fair to him to keep him separated from the other dogs when we might be able to find him a normal home. We very much love Ziggy (who couldnt love that face?), and this has been a hard decision for us, but the needs of our seniors need to come first at this time. Ziggy is a 9 month old Pit Bull/Red Heeler mix. He is 53 lbs (we think he may be full grown), neutered, and is up to date on all shots, heartworm and flea medication. He is crate-trained and is quickly learning basic obedience commands. He definitely needs an active person/family and would do great with another young dog. He has not been exposed to cats yet, but I think he could do okay if introduced properly. He is safe around children. If you are interested, you can contact me on Facebook or at (843) 315-8847.
