Please share xxxxx The Race This race is in memory of our daughter, Alexis Rose, who tragically died of Meningitis aged 19 months in 2011. The race has been set up to raise money for Meningitis Now to help them save lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support The Route The race starts just off the car park and follows the main path uphill into the Moncrieffe Hill woods. You will follow the marked trail along a big loop around the hill, passing the two ancient forts and also a chance to enjoy the stunning views around Perthshire before coming back on the same path downhill to the finish. The route is very undulating, challenging and we recommend you try some off-road running before doing this race. The race will be chip-timed. Registration will open at 9am in the Moncrieffe Hill Car Park Finish All runners will receive a goody bag with bespoke medal, t-shirt (designed by local schoolchildren), 10% voucher for Dundee Sweatshop, bottle of Strathmore Water, specially designed car air freshener and Cadburys Roses Prizes 1st Male & 1st Female 1st Vet Male & 1st Vet Female (40+) Entry Fee: £15.60. Please note that this is a fundraiser for Meningitis Now and there are no discounts for SAF member.
