Please slow down when driving 🐾 This little one lost track of mom as mom crossed the street from our house on Akaloa to the brush on the other side. By the time the fawn noticed momma was gone, he/she panicked and wasnt sure how to catch up. It darted down our hill and toward the street. Out of my site, I held my breath until I saw it safely running up the brush bank across the street to meet mom. I was so very happy when I saw them back together. All the while, morning car traffic was buzzing by. Most everyone drives cautiously slow yet there are you few who drive excessively fast for the ups and downs of Akaloa Drive. Were just asking everyone to drive safe and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Thanks!
