I would like Scotland to have the power to remove Trident from her waters. Scotland should be 100% in charge regarding fracking in her land. All revenue from Oil Gas and renewable energy to be devolved to Scotland. All revenue from food and drink to be devolved to Scotland. 100% of income tax to be devolved to Scotland. Full Vat control to be devolved to Scotland. Scotland should have its own permanent parliament. At the moment Westminster can dissolve it. We must ensure that this control from Westminster is abolished. Employment legislation to be devolved to Scotland. Broadcasting legislation to be devolved to Scotland. The incorporation of Scottish Broadcasting Service to replace the BBC. With a charter defined by the people of Scotland through a ‘crowd sourced’ procedure. Data Protection legislation to be devolved to Scotland. Energy legislation to be devolved to Scotland. Parliamentary legislation in Scotland i.e. MSPs are held to account when found guilty by the courts of unlawful conduct. Trade and industry legislation to be devolved to Scotland. Benefits and social security Legislation to be devolved to Scotland. Consumer rights legislation to be devolved to Scotland. The articles in my list will provide a starting point for Scotland to be able to shape her country into a more progressive and fair society. For too long now, we have been controlled from Westminster and the mainstream media. This has had a detrimental affect on us. We have made a little progress but it is not because of Westminster policies, but in spite of them. Those who voted Yes, wanted independence. The majority of those who voted No, did so, believing real powers to Scotland that were promised in the last days of the referendum would be kept and delivered.
