Please take a moment...Nearly 7 year old Dylan Allman of Cleddau Reach year 2 is putting together a recipe book which he’s going to sell to raise money for the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation. Dylan has been supporting them since he was three but this year is his biggest fundraising challenge yet, because he’s using ‘crowdfunding’ to raise the money to get the book printed. You can watch his 2 minute Crowdfunding video at crowdfunder.co.uk/cracking-good-recipes then ‘pledge’ from as little as £1 to help him (you only pay the money when the project is successful). He needs to raise £450 to get the book printed up, then he has to sell all the copies to make money for the Foundation, so any suggestions and ideas to help him would be great! Crowdfunding relies on word of mouth – letting as many people know about this as possible, so ANYONE can pledge money in return for some ‘rewards’ Dylan has put together, but it works on an all or nothing basis, so if he doesn’t raise ALL the money he needs the project fails and the book won’t happen, so PLEASE help him.
