Please take a moment to lift up all the stranded motorists in Alabama in your prayers and thoughts. Many of our church members are stranded on interstates and have been there for hours. A friend of mine has been stranded for 7.5 hours with her 2 little girls on the highway. My mom and grandfather are stranded at the civic center. There are lots of children who are spending the night at the schools with their great teachers. Its bad. We werent expecting this at all. The weather moved at the last minute and dumped 2-3 inches of snow on us. We have no salt on the roads and bridges and no machines that can clear the roads because they were sent to south Alabama because we didnt know it was going to hit us.
