Please tell me if you recommend/or not (& why please) if I should send out this email to my kids school district today? Mr. ____, I am still not satisfactorily getting my questions from you answered in a timely fashion, so rightfully, I am going to find answers from folks that I believe can help me with my important questions. Plus, I completely believe the governing & concerned body of the E.P. school board should be having full disclosure about me & my test refusal case. Perhaps a concerned board member might have some questions for you, for me, and for understanding this situation better. I am happy and welcome the board to ask me any and all questions regarding my testing situation, instead of continuing to ask me to sign months old waivers that you all can find attached, that do not address the situation before you and me. You had my children tested with the kindergarden readiness assessment and the 2nd grade diagnostic assessment against my explicitly stated parental wishes. I have a list of questions for you that must be answered in a timely fashion. 1.) Where are the exact place the results of the KRA test my child took go to? 2.) what was the exact score my child received on the KRA standardized test? 3.) When will the district provide me with a hardcopy of my childrens standardized tests arrive to me? I must have them. 4.) What was the exact score my child received on the 2nd grade reading diagnostic tests? 5.) Where is the exact place the results my child gave on the 2nd grade reading diagnostic test go to? 6.) Were the district waivers I was presented with in September of 2014, ever board approved? 7.) Where are the board minutes for when the district waivers I was presented with, located? What date was this? 8.) I am requesting electronically (free of charge to me) a hardcopy of all board minutes where the district spoke about and/or approved the district waivers that were presented to me, where are they? 9.) Why isnt the EPCSD website updated for current school board meeting minutes? it appears to me on the district website there is 3 1/2 years of missing, not posted, must be available to the public school board meeting minutes. You must explain to me how (free of charge to me) I can obtain board minutes from the last 3 1/2 years. 10.) Is there a written form to fill out to get copies of past board minutes? 11.) what is the procedure to obtain free board meeting minutes records? Upon examination of the EPCSD testing schedule you mailed to my home, I see there is yet another standardized test you have scheduled to administer to my 2nd grade child,, scheduled for the week of Decmber 2-Dec.12, 2014. I completely and explicity refuse this standardized test for my child. How will the district handle my explicity stated test refusal? I refuse my 2nd grade child to take the Easy CBM Winter Benchmark (grades 1-4), during this 2014-2015 school year. I continue to believe the waivers you supplied me with in September of 2014, will not prevent my children from being standardized tested. Are you and the board on the same page, to keep promoting my signature on waivers that are months old and ineffective as of this current date of November 16, 2014? What would I be waiving at this point? if as you have mentioned to me 13 times, to sign the waivers? Would you then have the power within you to un-test my children? the above stated documents have the PAST title of standardized tests that have already been given to my children. Do you and the board stand behind your continued requests to have me sign waivers for tests that you already given my children? My above attached and also read aloud at the November board meeting, parent refusal letter stands as my waiver, and has always been our working waiver for and formal refusal for my 2 children that attend the East Palestine City School District., for the 2014-2015 school year. My signed parent test refusal letter has always been the working waiver because it is backed up by law and the constitution, and will be valid in a court of law. Your waivers do not have any law, and are not any document recognized by the ODE and clearly do not lawfully address what you claim of them to address. Respond soon! Allison SHipe
