Prior to the election, they will send out emails to let people know by their district, who is running and who is animal friendly. They may also contact if there is animal related news in your district that you may wish to follow - such as an attempt by a municipality to put BSL legislation in place. So unless there is something coming up that affects your city or township or county, either regarding elections or legislative proposals, you wont hear from them.
