A Message from Gerry Wolf: Our parish recently was given the “Spirit of Agape” award from the Agape Community Center of Milwaukee, in recognition of our parish’s ongoing outreach donations to the center as well as our direct service to their meal program. Our youth have been actively involved in serving the meals for quite a few years now. This past summer, Laura Ellingen, one of our high school seniors from Catholic Memorial High School, also did a service project at Agape, using her musical talent to work with some of their youth to develop their vocal talents. On Saturday, November 22nd, some of the members of the Human Concerns committee and myself attended an awards banquet, where we received the “Spirit of Agape” LOVE award on behalf of the parish.
