Please, would an experienced cardiac parent please private message me, if that works better . Im a little freaked out at the moment. A year ago, my son had a cardiac evaluation for aortic stenosis. He has echo and EKG at that visit. I was told his aorta is borderline and to come back if he was diagnosed with a syndrome that affects the connective tissue. He was soon after. Today, more than a year later, we went to our pediatrician. He kept saying because oh his prolonged QT interval and left ventricular hypertrophy... I looked at him like he was an idiot. I said.. are you sure youre talking about my son?? He said YES. Then, he pulled up the report from the cardiologist and showed me what all it said. She did NOT say a word to me about this. Not a word. He has taken several meds that affect his QT wave since then and takes xoponex like its candy when he is sick. Today, he had an ekg and getting referred to another cardiologist. Im scared. Is there anyone that has experience with this?
