Pocklington: Burglary on Algarth Rise, Merchant Navy Suez Campaign Medal stolen. Crime Reference: CJ/2041444/14 Officers from Humberside Police are seeking information from anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary at a house in Pockington. A bungalow on Algarth Rise, Pocklington was broken into between Tuesday 22 and Sunday 27 April 2014. The elderly home-owner was not in the premises at the time of the incident. The property reported stolen from the premises includes a Merchant Navy Suez Campaign medal, two jewellery boxes containing a quantity of jewellery and watches, an antique piano stool, piano sheet music, HIFI equipment, a steam cleaner, a remote control helicopter, cased cine projector and a Sports Master 22 air rifle. Officers investigating the case are asking for anyone with information about the burglary or anyone who may have been offered any of the items listed, to contact them immediately quoting Crime Reference CJ/2041444/14.
