Poetry In Motion Care Bears is gearing up for our 2nd annual "Ballin for Life Cancer Fight" Co-Ed Flag Football Game for Cancer fighters & survivors. Saturday Oct 12, 2013 in New Orleans. We will have team Fighters against team Survivors playing a friendly game of flag football to honor cancer fighters & survivors. We will also be raising funds to help make the dream of a child battling cancer come true through our "Dream for a Day " program. Last year Wal-Mart, Whole Foods Store, Dat Dog Nola & Phat Tats Tattoo Shop sponsored our event & the NFL recruiting team also came out to support the event. A Lot of poets played in the game to support the cause as well. Registration for the game will be $30 forms will be available to register next month. All female spots have been filled but we still need more men. IF you know of a child battling cancer & you would like to nominate them to have their dream for a day come true or if you or someone you know survived or is battling cancer & would like to be honored at our cancer event please visit our website and leave me a message about the person or child being nominated or honored. If its a child get parents permission. I will need first & last names of all honors & nominees along with the story of their battle and the name of the cancer.
