Poisoned By Government Spooks? Mystery Still Surrounds The Death Of Actress Brittany Murphy Full Excerpt; The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office ruled the 32-year-old actress died in December 2009 of pneumonia, anemia and prescription drug intoxication. However, a new toxicology report says rat poisoning may have been the real cause behind the death of actress Brittany Murphy. Perhaps most famous for her role in 1995′s Clueless, Murphy also had more serious roles in Girl, Interrupted and played Eminem’s love interest in the critically acclaimed 8 Mile. The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled her 2009 death was due to pneumonia, but in a strange twist her husband Simon Monjack, also passed away from the same ailment five months later. According to a report in the Daily Mail, Brittany Murphy’s father has now sensationally claimed that the tragic ‘Clueless’ actress was poisoned to death by after offering her celebrity backing to a whistleblower fighting the government. What went wrong with Brittany Murphy? Angelo Bertolotti, 87, Murphy’s estranged father, sued the Los Angeles Police Department and the L.A. County coroner in 2012, alleging the investigation into his daughter’s death was mishandled. He now alleges that, at the time of her death, his daughter was under surveillance from shadowy government operators who wiretapped her phone and terrorized her after she spoke out in support of a Department of Homeland Security whistleblower. After years of litigation Mr Bertolotti finally won the right to have Murphy’s hair, blood and tissue tested by an independent company, which found the actress had high concentrations of ten heavy metals in her system and that she may have been intentionally poisoned. The Carlson Company found ten heavy metals in Brittany’s system which were several times higher than World Health Organization high levels at the time of her death. New toxicology report suggests rat poison may have killed actress Brittany Murphy. A lab report showed the presence of heavy metals at two to nine times higher than the levels identified by the World Health Organization as being considered high. ”I have a feeling that there was a definite murder situation here,” he told “Good Morning America. “It’s poison, yes, I know that.” The lab report, that was first reported by Examiner and obtained by ABC News, reads: “Testing the hair strand sample identified as ‘back of the head’ we have detected ten (10) heavy metals at levels above the WHO high levels recommendation. If we were to eliminate the possibility of a simultaneous accidental heavy metals exposure to the sample donor then the only logical explanation would be an exposure to these metals (toxins) administered by a third party perpetrator with likely criminal intent.” Attorney Cyril Wect told GMA. ”Brittany Murphy’s death is highly suspicious, it is a report from an accredited laboratory. It cannot be ignored.” Heavy metals are most commonly found in rat poison and insecticides. The young actress’ career was populated with edgy, but likable characters however in the months leading up to her death things weren’t going well with her once-promising career. Amid persistent rumors of possible substance abuse issues, and erratic behavior, she saw the end of her lucrative, long-running voice role as Luanne on King of the Hill as well as losing roles in Happy Feet 2 and 2008’s Tinker Bell. She had also been dropped from The Expendables. Before marrying Mr Monjack, the actress dated Ashton Kutcher, her co-star in the film Just Married. According to Bertolotti, Murphy and Monjack suffered from headaches, abdominal cramps, wheezing, disorientation, congestion and pneumonia — some of the same symptoms caused by heavy metal poisoning. Simon Monjack, died within five months of his wife, his autopsy showed the causes to be pneumonia and anemia. “Vicious rumors, spread by tabloids, unfairly smeared Brittany’s reputation,” said Angelo Bertolotti. “My daughter was neither anorexic nor a drug junkie, as they repeatedly implied. “I’m not going to rest until my daughter’s untimely demise is properly investigated, which hasn’t happened so far. Her case deserves more than a superficial glance,” Bertolotti said in a press release quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.
