Police: Man shot, robbed December 3, 2014 Williamsport Sun-Gazette A man was shot during an apparent robbery in the 700 block of West Edwin Street late Tuesday afternoon, city police confirmed. Officers were dispatched to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center emergency room about 4:40 p.m. to interview a gunshot victim who arrived at the hospital, either by walking in on his own or arriving in a private vehicle. The injury in not life threatening, an officer confirmed late Tuesday night. He did not comment on where the gunshot wound was located. No one was in custody and police still were trying to develop leads in the case. The victims age and identity were not released. No information was provided on what was taken in the holdup.
