Police Scotland Fife Pipe Band would like to announce the resignation of Pipe Major Andrew (Drew) Mathieson, and that he will be replaced with immediate effect by Pipe Major Douglas Murray. Drew will continue to be in the Pipe Corp of Police Scotland Fife but will focus more on the development of the Corp and also dedicate more time to our junior band, Kirkcaldy High School Pipe Band. Douglas Murray, a member of Police Scotland Fife Pipe Band since its inception and a worldwide renowned piper with an array of solo championship titles under his belt, brings with him to the PM role a fresh injection of enthusiasm and will be fully supported by Pipe Sergeant Blair Porter and Leading Drummer Mick O’Neill.
