Police Scotland, Tayside Division is appealing for witnesses after a 32-year old man was assaulted at 5am this morning (Tuesday, June 17) in Forfar. The victim was in Dundee Road near to the Co-op when he was approached by man who got out of the passenger side of a blue-coloured Subaru car. He spoke briefly to the victim before knocking him to the ground assaulting him. The suspect then made off in the car. The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee for treatment and later allowed away. The suspect is described as being six foot two inches tall and of stocky build.
