Police are appealing for information after a stabbing in Penrith overnight. About 8pm (Sunday 25 May 2014) emergency services were called to High Street. Upon arrival they located a man in a townhouse with multiple stab wounds to the chest. The 40-year-old local was taken to hospital. He is currently in a stable condition. Police have established a crime scene and inquiries into the incident are continuing.
