Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a Morecambe couple who have gone missing. Paul and Joan Brook ( Joan is also known as Katy) both 67, are believed to have left their home address in the town around 1100hrs on Friday 14th March, 2014 in their beige coloured Citroen Picasso car registered number PK02 BRK. Police believe that they may be in the North Lancashire, North Yorkshire or Cumbria area but they are also known to frequent the Settle and Skipton areas of North Yorkshire. Katy is described as a white, 5’5” tall with collar length wavy grey hair. Paul is also white, 5’5” tall and has receding dark brown straight hair. DI Phil Jones who is leading the investigation says: ‘We are concerned for the welfare of the couple and would ask that should a member of the public see them or their vehicle, to contact their local police immediately. The family are concerned for the well-being of their parents and we are keen to locate them such is our concern. We believe they are in the Skipton area but may well be anywhere in North Lancashire or the adjoining counties.’ Should any one see the couple or their vehicle please contact a local officer or telephone 101 and request Lancashire Police quoting ref 0880 of 15th March.
