Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at an isolated farm near Whitby. At around 7.45am on Monday 1 December 2014, thieves broke into a garage at Bankside Farm in Kildale and took a black and red Honda quad bike and a red Gas Gas trials bike. Three chain saws, a Sthil saw, a petrol pressure washer, a generator and a jerry can half full of petrol were also taken in the incident. Officers are appealing to anyone who saw anyone suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to contact them with information. Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for PC Lisa Jones or Whitby police.
