Police are currently at a crash between a B-Double truck and car on the Dukes Highway at Coombe (approximately 25km west of Keith). At about 4.25am, police were called to the head-on crash, trapping the driver of the car for over an hour. The driver has sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is being conveyed to hospital for treatment. The truck driver and passenger of the car have sustained minor injuries. Motorists are advised the Dukes Highway at Coombe is down to one lane until further notice. Alternatively, motorists can take diversions along the Mallee Highway or the Ngarkat Highway.
