Police are investigating after a man was found with serious injuries in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs overnight. Just before 2am (Wednesday 30 April 2014), emergency services were called to St Thomas Street, Bronte. Upon arrival, officers from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command found a 26-year-old man lying injured on the roadway. He was treated by ambulance paramedics and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition. A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers. Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about how the man came to be injured to come forward.
