Police are investigating the Brooklyn Nets vs. Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv game that occurred last Tuesday. The Barclays Center, which is the home of the Nets, has been the scene of several possible hate crimes against the visiting Israeli team and their Jewish supporters. One Jewish victim by the name of Leonard Petlakh has come forward to the New York Police Department (NYPD) to say that he was violently assaulted outside the famous arena. According to the New York Daily News, instead of watching the Nets play (see video), several Pro-Palestinian protesters chose to wave Palestinian flags while chanting Israel’s War On Gaza Is Not A Game. The Brooklyn Jewish leader and his friends became annoyed. They snatched one of the flags that was in front of Petlakh and took the ugly incident outside the arena where the executive director of the Kings Bay Y in Sheepshead Bay sustained a deep cut above his eye.
