Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of two children in a crash at Lower Light earlier today. Just before 7am, a Toyota Tarago travelling south on Port Wakefield Road, rolled about 2km south of Lower Light. Two children, a 14-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, sadly died at the scene. The driver, a 31-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Three other children in the car, two girls aged 10 and 8 years and a boy 7-years-old, were all taken the Womens and Childrens Hospital with serious injuries. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. The road toll is now 21 compared with 22 at the same time last year.
