Police are searching the Salisbury area for a man suspected of driving a stolen car in a pursuit earlier today. Just after 11.20am, a stolen white Ford sedan collided with a fence at the intersection of Sheriff Street and Clayson Road. The male driver and sole occupant of the car ran away from the car. The car has earlier been pursued by police at Evanston South. Patrols searched the area with the assistance of the police helicopter and a police dog, but the suspect was not found. He is described as Caucasian, about 180cm tall, and was wearing a black t-shirt and black track pants. Anyone who sees a man matching this description is urged to call the police assistance line on 131444.
