Police have charged a man after an aggravated indecent assault of a girl in Campbelltown on Monday afternoon. About 3.45pm (Monday 11 November 2013), a 14-year-old female was sitting on a bus between Campbelltown and Minto when a man sat down beside her. The man began to talk to her and he allegedly indecently assaulted her. The man then got off the bus in Minto. The girl reported the incident to Macquarie Fields Local Area Command and an investigation was commenced. At 3.30pm Wednesday 14 November 2013, police arrested a 20-year-old man at Macquarie Fields Police Station. He was charged with aggravated indecent assault to appear at Campbelltown Local Court Thursday 14 November 2013.
