Police have charged a man after his car hit the wall of a building in Heckenberg last night. About 8pm (Thursday 30 April 2014), a 20-year-old man was driving a gold Holden Berlina sedan on Matthew Avenue. The car left the roadway, near the intersection of St Johns Street, hit a fence and building. Police from GreenValley Local Area Command and other emergency services attended and an investigation was commenced. The driver was breath tested with a negative result. There was minor damage to the building and no one was injured as a result of the incident. The 20-year-old who was allegedly a suspended driver was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for drive whilst suspended and negligent driving, to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday 21 May 2014.
