Police have charged a man and woman with murder, after a man died in south west NSW on Wednesday. About 11.30am (Wednesday 16 April 2014), police and other emergency services were called to a home at Scott Street, The Rock, after reports a man was injured and needed assistance. On arrival, officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command and NSW Ambulance Paramedics, found a 76-year-old man with head injuries and initiated CPR; however, the man died. An investigation into the death of the man was commenced and the scene was examined by specialist officers. About 1.05am today (Sunday 20 April 2014), police attended an address on Railway Street, The Rock, and arrested a 23-year-old woman and 25-year-old man. They were taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station, where the man was charged with murder and an outstanding warrant for an unrelated matter. The woman was also charged with murder. They were both refused bail to appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court tomorrow (Monday 21 April 2014).
