Police have charged a man over an assault at Ingleburn Railway Station this morning, which left another man in intensive care with a broken jaw. About 8.30am (Monday 16 June), a 46-year-old man was assaulted while walking up the stairs at the station after engaging in a conversation with another man who he knew. The victim was allegedly punched and kicked a number of times. The man suffered a broken jaw, severe facial swelling and lacerations. He remains in intensive care at Liverpool Hospital. Police from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command arrested a 43-year-old man after stopping his car at the intersection of Camden Valley Way and Denham Court Road. He has been charged with recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm and was granted conditional bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on July 7.
