Police have charged a teen after a large group of people allegedly gate crashed a birthday party on the Central Coast last night. About 8.30pm (Friday 16 May 2014), police from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command were called to a home on Pinehurst Way, Blue Haven, where over 30 people allegedly crashed a birthday party. A number of fights broke out amongst people at the location, officers intervened and OC spray was used. Three teens and an officer were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries. No one was taken to hospital. Two teens, a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl were arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station. The boy was dealt with under the Young Offenders Act for affray. The girl was charged with assault and breach of bail, she was refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court today.
