Police in Lilongwe have arrested four suspected armed robbers believed to have raided Donnas Eggs and Robbray Limited companies getting away with a combined 6.6 million Kwacha. It comes amid public outcry over a series of armed robberies in the major cities of the country. The suspected criminals are Gift Makalani from Zomba, Maxwell Malanda from Dowa, Alex Chagunda from Ntcheu and Amos Mwanyungwe from Karonga district. The four, who were found in possession of a firearm, were arrested in the Gwirambava Operation after police got a tip from the public. Speaking to Capital Fm, Deputy Police Inspector General responsible for operations, Paul Kanyama expressed gratitude for the support the law enforcers are getting from the public. #MalawiSecurity #Crime
