Police in search of Kuwaiti for recruiting illegal residents Police are looking to arrest a Kuwaiti man who according to his driver hired illegal residents to carry out some manual labor in violation of labor regulations. According to Kuwait Times daily, Ahmadi police had pulled over a bus on the Seventh Ring Road that raised their suspicions when they noticed it carried a number of Asian workers. The officers checked the workers’ identities and found out that they all had expired visas and are reported missing by their original employers.Police then questioned the driver who explained that his employer had assigned him to hire workers for KD 5 a day each to collect steel, copper and other metal object so that they can be sold at the scrap market, daily added. The detainees were referred to the authorities for further action while orders were given to summon the employer for investigations
