Police officer at Warwick hurt when stolen vehicles drives off A POLICE sergeant has been injured after being dragged along a road when he tried to intercept a stolen car at Warwick on Friday night. The officer was conducting a mobile patrol when he stopped a suspected stolen green Holden Commodore sedan on Victoria St at about 9.10pm. When approached by police, the stolen car reversed into a parked vehicle. The officer tried to arrest the driver but the car sped off, dragging him along the road for a short period. The sergeant received first aid treatment for minor cuts and abrasions to his arms and hands. Police are searching for the stolen vehicle.
