Police officers cant stop and mourn todays senseless shooting deaths of their two brothers with NYPD... they just cant. With their hearts breaking, eyes tear-filled and thoughts racing... they have to continue protecting and serving the public... even those who are sick enough to applaud the shooter. Officers cant stop and protest the inhumane violence that took two of their own... they cant march, block traffic or burn any buildings... they have jobs to do. In honor of the two NYPD officers shot in cold blood today, I will run through downtown Shreveport Sunday afternoon at 2:00. I will wear blue and black and dedicate the run to every officer whos lost his/her life in the line of duty. I will park across the street from SPD in the public lot and run 3-5 miles. Its the least I can do to show officers how much theyre appreciated. Police Lives Matter.
