Police officers from the South Beach Police Station arrested two - TopicsExpress

Police officers from the South Beach Police Station arrested two men, ages 18 and 52, for assaulting two female BEC disconnectors who were attempting to disconnect their power supply at their residence in Pinewood Gardens. BEC Chairman Leslie Miller called the men cowards and said that their power was disconnected from the pole and the meter box was removed by BEC personnel. He further said that power will only be reconnected after the matter has been resolved by the courts. And this despite an apology which he received from a female resident of the said address. Question: Is it morally and ethically right for Miller to punish the entire family for the bone-headed actions of two of their family members? Suppose an elderly person and a baby lives there, then what? Why should the innocent suffer for the guilty?
